There are wines born from the land. Others are born from the heart, and this is one of them.
Our father always said that the best Carignan in the world came from El Lloar. He was born there and stated it with pride, knowing that his village held a unique essence. That is why we promised him that one day we would make the best wine in the world in the middle of the world, using the old-vine Carignan he loved so much.
This is how this Village Wine was born: the only one made in the village itself, from old-vine Carignan (the best in the world), aged for 18 months and crafted with patience and the greatest dedication. A very limited edition (only 450 bottles), exclusively from El Lloar.
A wine full of memory. Our father helped us make it, guiding us at every step. Shortly after, he passed away, and this wine became the last one we made together. That is why it bears his name: “In memory of Pè.”
The Village Wine of El Lloar is his legacy: a tribute to a father, the wine of a promise, a promise turned into wine.

Tasting notes:
Appearance: deep ruby colour with a medium-high intensity, reflecting elegance and authenticity.
Nose: refined and complex, with ripe red fruit and floral notes of violet and lavender, hints of warm slate —so characteristic of the Lloar terroir— alongside subtle aromas of vanilla, cedar and Mediterranean herbs.
Palate: balanced, elegant and full of character. Silky tannins, a deep yet fresh mouthfeel, and a long, persistent finish. Only the mineral character of Lloar’s Carignan can achieve such harmony between power and finesse.
Food pairing: Roasted meats, traditional stews, mountain-style rice dishes, chicken with prunes, artisanal cured meats, and aged goat’s and sheep’s cheeses.
